CISO – X-Guard Privacy

The security of our systems and the privacy of our users are core to how we operate. Oversight of our information security strategy and practices is led by our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Jesse Degger.

The CISO is responsible for ensuring that X-Guard maintains the highest standards of information security across all operations, platforms, and data flows. His role includes guiding our ISO27001 implementation, overseeing risk assessments and internal audits, coordinating incident response, and aligning our security posture with evolving privacy and compliance requirements — including GDPR and other regulatory frameworks.

As a small company, we have chosen to combine the role of Privacy Officer with that of the CISO. This ensures that privacy and security are handled in close alignment under a single point of responsibility.
